Customer Information

Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Swingstra website or purchase products from Swingstra. Please read them together with the product information and customer policies published on our website.

Products & Product Information

Swingstra aims to provide clear and accurate descriptions, photographs, dimensions, options and other information about our products. Timber is a natural material, so grain, colour, pattern and appearance may vary between individual products.

Prices

Product prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD). Any applicable delivery charge or other amount payable for an order will be communicated before that additional amount is charged.

Placing an Order

When placing an order, you are responsible for providing accurate contact, delivery and product-selection information. Please check your selected timber, finish, chain length, hardware options, quantity and delivery details carefully before submitting your order.

Made-to-Order Products

Many Swingstra timber swings are made to order. Production may begin after an order is confirmed. Because these products may be prepared according to your selected options, change-of-mind cancellations, returns or exchanges are not generally accepted for made-to-order or customised products.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Payment

Payment must be made using a payment method made available at checkout. Third-party payment providers, such as PayPal, may also apply their own terms and privacy practices to their services.

Delivery

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on product preparation, timber availability, order specifications, freight services and delivery location. Free standard delivery is available to most Australian addresses where shown on the product page or at checkout.

Some remote, regional or difficult-to-service locations may require an additional freight charge. If an additional charge applies, Swingstra will contact you before processing that additional cost.

Installation & Safe Use

Correct installation is essential for safe use. Swingstra products must be installed using appropriate mounting methods and attached to a structurally suitable supporting structure. Customers are responsible for ensuring that any installation not performed by Swingstra is suitable for the product and intended location.

Products should be inspected regularly, including the timber, supporting structure, chains, quick links, eye bolts and other connection points. Do not continue using a product if there are signs that its condition may make continued use unsafe.

Returns, Refunds & Consumer Rights

Swingstra products come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

Website Content & Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Swingstra name, branding, website content, product photographs, graphics and original written material on this website are owned by or used with permission by Swingstra. They must not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without appropriate permission.

Privacy

Information provided through our website or during an order is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
